NY Urasenke kindly provided us with an opportunity to present our HYOGU craftsmen’s techniques.

In collaboration with Akira Fujinami, a painter, we exhibited works (folding screens, wall scrolls and frames) that aimed at the experimental fusion of modern art and HYOGU techniques.
There is an exhibition currently scheduled to be held.
The date, site, etc., are all undetermined.
An announcement will be made after they are officially decided.

They said they once made an order for re-covering of shoji to an interior design company in the US, and the company pasted sheets made of glass fiber using instant adhesive.
Received an order for restoring a wall scroll from an antique dealer in Boston
In starting to work in the US as well, I made this deal through someone who is on familiar terms with us.
