-Techniques presentation at NY Urasenke- ギャラリー

コメント

We crossed the ocean because our techniques of maneuvering paper and fabric are globally rare and we wanted American people to see them.

There, we re-covered shoji sliding screens placed in a tea-ceremony room, using a traditional tsugibari technique. In addition to the re-covering of sliding screens, we gave a presentation of urauchi (lining) and a lecture about the structure of byobu folding screens.

We had many people in the audience including Urasenke students living in NY and their American acquaintances, and received a good reputation.
